WHAT IS REIKI?
Reiki is a hands-on healing method that originated in Japan. The practitioner channels healing energy through her hands to the person or animal through a light touch either directly on the body or from a distance. Reiki is based on the idea that all living beings have life energy flowing through them. Reiki is a safe complement to conventional Western medicine, Chinese medicine, herbal medicine, homeopathy and all other forms of healing.
Remote or Distance Healing
Distance (remote or absentee) healing, is a technique that allows the energy to be sent over time and space. It is basically a process of intention, and visualization, mentally seeing the person you want to send healing to and do it. Remote healing can be sent to anyone, anywhere, anytime. Time and distance are no longer a factor to help others with their healing. We are so much more than just our physical bodies. We are all made up of energy. This is really all that we are and what we are working with, so there are really no limits.

Our cancellation charge is 25% of the assignment when services are cancelled within less than 48 hours of assignment starting date. Or give a
minimum of 24 hours notice to receive credit against future walks or visits. Credit against future visits may be given, at the discretion of “You and Your Pet’s Best Friend”. A fee of $25 will be added to all services cancelled within 8 hours of assignment. A fee of $35 will apply to all returned checks. Client is responsible for all costs of collection.

Energy Healing Session
There is really no typical Reiki or energy healing session. This can be done anywhere, no matter what else is happening either around or directly to the recipient. In a standard treatment the energy flows from the practitioners hands into the client while recipient is sitting or lying in a comfortable position in a place of their choice. Healing energy always goes where it is needed most whether it is mental, physical, and/or spiritual. This energy flows slowly or rapidly-as needed–to dispense balancing energies. During a treatment, sensations are different for everyone. They can be extremely subtle at times where you may not feel anything, or on the contrary, you may feel a pulsing, or energy surge, heat, numbness, or tingling sensation. However, feelings of deep relaxation are usually felt by all. Fortunately, energy healing works whether you feel it or not.

I absolutely love what I do especially when it comes to a healing. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a positive energy change. I'm not your traditional Reiki Master. I define myself more of an intuitive healer. I work with my Angels and Spirit guides to lead me to where I'm supposed to be focused. The way I work is a little different than most. For me, you do not need to be lying on a bed with music playing if you do not wish. You can be doing what you enjoy, watching TV, talking, doing whatever you like as long as I have access to you one way or another. The energy will do it's job regardless. I can come to your home or place of comfort where you or your animal are in your own favorite personal space. I will sit on your floor, sit on a chair, on a sofa, I can work from anywhere that you or your furry baby feels most comfortable even if it is remotely as long as I have permission. If you prefer I can perform a distance or remote healing from anywhere to anywhere.
REIKI BENEFITS

A Word of Caution
Reiki is never a replacement for a physician or veterinarian's care. It is however, non-invasive and supports any medical, or supplemental healing methods a client may be using.
The Sensitive Side
When it come to death, a healer’s work isn’t always about helping to heal in the physical sense. Reiki can definitely save lives, if it is truly not the patients time to transition. However, Reiki cannot and will not prevent death if that is their destiny. Reiki can definitely assist in the transition from their bodies in a comfortable peaceful way. Reiki is a movement of the physical and non physical energy that already exists in and around us. It cannot be used to manipulate the universe.
